SYNCH
Two Sides of SYNCH
SYNCH is a custom Discord bot built to assist in running Asynchronous RPG. It's main function is to assist in keeping combat information up-to-date and available as players open Discord to take their turns. SYNCH is also a sophisticated AI designed to assist characters navigate the world and their missions and ultimately an NPC in the game.
History
The SYNCH system is a pre-Undoing program discovered and modified by the Halcyon Corporation. It includes several components and pieces of equipment and is modular, allowing customers to choose what they want included.
Halcyon is based in the Talos Enclave and the Directorate of Security was their first and remains their largest customer.
Components
Heads-Up Display (HUD)
A core component, the HUD provides critical information in a visual format to improve decision-making efficiency and reaction times.
Threat Assessment Unit (TAU)
Evaluates real-time threats including environmental, chemical, and potential enemies.
Commands:
/elist to view current enemy status
/edmg to record damage to an enemy
/econ to edit an enemy condition
Mission Activity Processor (MAP)
Evaluates mission success probabilities and provides guidance on achieving objectives.
Tracks and records the results of actions performed by any individual in range.
Recommends efficient combat pathing to eliminate threats with minimal risk and effort.
Commands:
/roll to resolve an attack or ability outcome
Team Resource Monitor (TRM)
Tracks and displays team resources and status. The user or administrator can set alerts based on resource levels.
Commands:
/clist to view current character status
/cadd to add a new character or drone
/cedit to edit character resources
/etrack to edit enemy numeric tracking fields
Communication Enhancement Module (CEP)
Manages voice and text communications between team members and relays updates and instructions over extended ranges.

The SYNCHpack is the system's base item but Halcyon offers additional options to further improve the experience.
