There are four classes in Asynchronous RPG, each starts with Health, Miasma, and a weapon. Each also has a set of special abilities and a power exclusive to the class.

Quick, silent, and as deadly as it gets

Starting Weapon: Bow or Katana
Passive Ability (no action)
Assassin: deal +1 damage when wielding silent weapons and an additional +1 with a katana
Active Ability (action)
Stalk: Choose a valid target. It takes +2 damage from one of your attacks per round. You can only Stalk one target at a time and can change targets by using the ability again.
Exclusive Power
Build-Up: deal +2 damage on attacks with a silent weapon this turn
Sledge
Strong, resilient, and very hard to take down.

Starting Weapon: Shotgun or Other Melee
Passive Ability (no action)
Unyielding: you regenerate 2 health each turn
Active Ability (action)
Guardian: apply the Guarded condition to an ally

Smart, versatile, and a technological mastermind...the Tek relies on managing a fleet of drones.

Drones
There are three types of drones:
Combat Drone:
4 health
Activate to deal 2 ranged damage to a target.
Defender Drone:
6 health.
Activate to apply the Guarded condition to any PC or NPC (but not other drones)
Guarded can be reassigned with an additional activation.
Med Drone:
4 health.
Activate to heal any character or NPC up to the drones current health.
The drone is destroyed.
A Tek manages their drones through the use of charges.

You get charges from…
Autonomous: the Tek passive ability provides two drone charges each turn.
Operate: the Tek special ability provides one charge and requires an action. Can be used multiple times per turn.
Surge: the Tek exclusive power provides one charge and costs one miasma. Can only be used 1/turn like all powers.
Drones in combat:
Can only be deployed in combat but persist between combat encounters in the same mission.
Each drone can be activated once per turn.
Combat drones automatically hit, they don’t require an attack roll.
Unused charges go away at the end of each turn
Drones are destroyed when their health reaches 0

Strategy: Use actions to use Enervate to debuff the damage of particularly dangerous foes if they are likely to survive to the GM turn. Otherwise use your actions to either defeat enemies or knock their health down low enough to be defeated by allies.
Spend miasma to activate powers. You have a party heal, enemy stun, and a direct damage power which is not considered an attack and therefore skirts conditions like Guarded and Evasive. Scourge triggers every time you use a miasma and deals 1 direct damage.
